I donated work to this show to help out the family of one of my dearest friends and fellow artists, Marisa Avelar, whose family is grappling with a mental illness which has stricken one of their own. What’s worse, the mounting medical bills and daily caring for the one afflicted are a terrible burden on Marisa’s parents, both of whom are fast approaching their 70’s.

I donated a ton of work to this, as have many other artists. It’s a worthy cause and your help, support, and reblogs are much appreciated!
